Weddings

You have found someone who fills your heart with love and your life with joy. Someone who makes you feel like there’s nothing you can’t do. Someone to whom you want to make a sacred life-long commitment.

A traditional wedding ceremony won’t work for you – you want a celebration that uniquely honours your love and reflects your relationship, your personalities, and your commitment to each other. It has to be an authentic celebration that feels like a sacred beginning to your life as a married couple.

I will work with you to create a meaningful ceremony. We’ll design a celebration that embraces the things that are most important to you, combining music, rituals, readings and your own words or vows. We can honour your parents, remember loved ones who have passed away or include your children in a commitment that creates not just a marriage but a family. We can celebrate the ceremony where ever you choose — a church, a banquet hall, the beach, your own garden or some other unique setting.

I am honoured to support you in sanctifying your love, no matter who you love. You have found someone to share your life. That is all that’s important.

“The minute I heard my first love story I started looking for you, not knowing how blind I was. Lovers don’t finally meet somewhere. They’re in each other all along.”
— Rumi

No matter what the ceremony looks like, I will assist you with the following:

  • Plan your ceremony with planning meetings and follow-up emails
  • Create a custom-designed ceremony with your vision and needs in mind
  • Coordinate with other participants in the celebration – musicians, soloists, venue managers, etc – to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Be a peaceful presence on your wedding day, creating the space to celebrate your love sweetly, professionally, delightfully
  • Provide a keepsake copy of the ceremony

If you think that I might be the right person to help you create a celebration of your love or if you have questions about how we might work together, please do contact me.
